Bowls food trucks for hire

Hire a bowls food truck in Denmark and have us drive it out with poke, buddha and green bowls built around grain, raw vegetables and protein. The healthy, colourful bowl for corporate wellness, summer parties and lighter menus. From DKK 105/person, minimum from DKK 12,500.

A bowls food truck with Street Foodies is a healthy colour bowl built around a base grain (quinoa, brown rice, couscous or bulgur), a layer of raw vegetables, a layer of protein (salmon, chicken, tofu or chickpeas), a topping and a dressing. The poke bowl is the Hawaiian variant: marinated fish pieces, edamame, mango and avocado over rice. The buddha bowl is the plant-based one: roasted sesame broccoli, sweet potato, red cabbage and tahini. It is healthier food that does not feel like fast food.

What is special about the bowl concept is that it is built around health as an experience — the bowl is a colourful phenomenon that works for corporate wellness days, summer parties and events with guests who want lighter but equally filling menus. Serving happens in reusable bowls and stacks with chopsticks, so guests can eat anywhere on the ground without a service line — and the truck takes less room because there is no need for a griddle the way burger trucks need one.

Bowls food trucks pair well with our healthy & vegan trucks, our falafel trucks (vegetarian protein in a bowl) and our vegan and vegetarian trucks. See also our coverage in Copenhagen, Aarhus and Odense, or browse the whole network on Food trucks in Denmark.

Questions about bowls food trucks

How much healthier is a bowls food truck compared to a regular food truck?

A bowls menu is built around vegetables, grain and a protein-balanced dressing — on average 450–550 kcal per bowl versus 800–1000 kcal per burger combo. There is no deep frying, and the sauce is portioned out. We also offer low-carb bases (cauliflower rice, lettuce base) and gluten-free dressing, so guests can compose the menu to their own health targets at the company party or summer event.

Can a bowls food truck stand outdoors at summer parties without chilling the proteins?

Yes. The bowls kitchen is built on cold or warm proteins — marinated salmon, grilled chicken cooled down, tofu pressed and cubed — so the truck can operate without a full hot-hold-display refrigeration chain, as long as protein elements are kept in insulated coolers on the truck. For outdoor summer parties we add ice-blocks and thermal bags to keep rice and edamame cold. That makes the bowl truck suited for festivals, beach and harbour edges where power is not always stable.

Which proteins can I choose in a poke or buddha bowl?

The poke bowl can come with fresh salmon, tuna, chicken or tofu — the buddha bowl is plant-based with chickpeas, tofu, edamame or mushrooms. We recommend offering two proteins per guest at large parties, so vegetarians and meat eaters can each get their combination. For company events we also offer a 'bowl bar' where guests self-compose — the chefs advise on colour balance, dressing choice and protein boost as needed.
